Scotland vs Switzerland - Euro 2024 Preview
Scotland will be hoping to get their Euro 2024 campaign off to a winning start when they take on Switzerland in their opening match.
The Scots have a poor record against the Swiss, having won just one of their last five meetings. However, they will be hoping to draw inspiration from their 1-0 victory over the Swiss in the group stages of the 2018 World Cup.
Switzerland will be no pushovers, though. They are ranked 15th in the FIFA World Rankings, and they have a number of talented players in their squad, including Granit Xhaka, Xherdan Shaqiri, and Yann Sommer.
The match is likely to be a close and competitive affair. Scotland will need to be at their best if they want to get a result against a strong Swiss side.
The match will be played at the Hampden Park in Glasgow. Kick-off is at 20:00 BST.
